For those of you who are new to this author...
I have been a career Chief Financial Officer but have always had an artistic side. I’ve been a musician my whole life, playing guitars, keyboards and woodwinds. I’ve been a songwriter since I was twelve years old.
I didn’t start writing novels until I was in my fifties and I now can’t imagine life without it. I now have eighteen books published, soon to be twenty-one.
I have always used a traditional publisher, believing the quality of my product would be better than self-publishing.
The thing I enjoy most about being a writer is meeting readers. I love to get feedback.
What is this new book about, you ask? Check out the back blurb here:
While on a bonding vacation trip to Maine, Cordelia Corbett and her team take on two unrelated murder cases, one involving the prior Airbnb renter of the seaside vacation home they were vacationing in, the other, the boyfriend of a waitress they encountered at a local restaurant.
True to form, the investigations took them to Massachusetts and Northern Maine, which would have been perfect for a relaxing vacation, if only they could relax.
And while the team is able to elicit a confession regarding one of the murders, how does the fact that he was a hitman impact the conclusion of the case, and will they ever really know?
Now Onto the Interview...

Under the Gun: A Cordelia Corbett Mystery #6
Who is your main character and what to do you like about him/her?
Cordelia Corbett is the main character. This is book 6 in her series. She is a spunky, self-confident, female, amateur sleuth.
Describe one of the local businesses mentioned in your storyline.
There are several local lobster shops, and AIRBNB, and a quaint motel with cabins.
How does this book differ from your others? Or how is it the same?
This is the only book in the series, based in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, that takes place in New England, mostly Maine, but also Massachusetts.
A Quote From My Book:
"After the experience we had had in Ocean City, I vowed I would never walk out on a dock again, but everything seemed to be okay. No dead bodies in sight. Perhaps this was my lucky night, or maybe my luck was changing. Maybe now that I had a legitimate investigative firm, I didn’t need to find dead people one by one. I hoped that part of my life was over and that it was some crazy trick my deceased grandmother had been playing on me." – Cordelia Corbett (Under the Gun)
